    In 2005, Ms. Chelsea L. Calhoun, came up with the idea of Groove Dance Fitness, LLC (Groove);
    out of her love for dance and the desire to find a workout that she would enjoy and could adhere
    to.  After almost four years of refining her idea and getting up enough courage to take that leap of
    faith, she launched the company in March 2009.  

    Groove currently offers total body workouts to the hottest music you can find, in a fun and
    supportive environment.  We combine various dance styles with traditional elements of
    cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training exercises.

    We also aim to provide our members with tools to help them adhere to a fitness program, and
    acquire the skills necessary to achieve overall wellness. To meet this goal, Groove offers
    workshops and motivational support teams.  Please refer to "Our Services" and "GET FIT!

    Here at Groove, we take a holistic approach.  We not only focus on your physical health, but also
    your mental, emotional, social, nutritional and spiritual well-being.  It is our intent to provide you
    with a program that enhances your commitment, motivation, self-confidence and enjoyment to
    living a healthier lifestyle.



    Here at Groove we do not limit ourselves by restricting our workouts to certain types of music.  
    We embrace the vast selection of music at are disposal: Hip-Hop, Old Skool, Reggatone,
    Reggae, Soca, Latin, House, Go-Go, Jazz, R&B, Rock, Gospel, African, and etc.  The list
    goes on and on.  

    We incorporate music that makes you want to start tapping your feet, snapping your figures and
    just want to get up and dance!  We also play music that speaks to your heart, makes you,
    reminisce, and think and feel emotions that you would not have felt if you had not listened to the
    song.  We strive to keep the music upbeat, but also uplifting.  

    Another unique trait is our strength and flexibility components.  We focus on using your body's
    own resistance.  It is our goal to make you feel like you're dancing, but also give you a great total
    body workout in the process.
